Lux Darkroom is a photographic darkroom in London that provides workshops and tuition in analogue and historical photographic processes.

In order to provide these workshops, we need to collect and store information about our customers. We want to reassure you that we will never sell, rent, or trade your information with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. We will use your information only for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice, and we are committed to keeping your information safe.

What information do we collect about you?

•We collect information about you when you sign up to our mailing list or place an order for products or services, for example when booking a workshop. 

•We also collect information when you voluntarily complete customer surveys, provide feedback, or contact us to express an interest in our services.

How will we use the information about you?

•We collect information about you to process your booking or order, and to contact you with information about workshops you have booked.  

•We will share your information with the workshop tutor when you sign up for a workshop, so that they can contact you with information about the workshop. Our tutors will keep your information safe and confidential, and will never share it with any third parties.

•We use your information collected from our website to personalise your repeat visits to our website. 

•We will never share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

•We sometimes need to share your details with other organisations, for example Paypal, Stripe, and Wix for administrative tasks such as processing payments. We’ve chosen our partners carefully to ensure that your information will be safe and will not be shared with any other third parties without your consent.

•Because we use third party payment providers, Lux Darkroom cannot access or store your payment details.

Marketing

•We would like to send you information about services of ours which may be of interest to you, for example workshops and events hosted by Lux Darkroom. If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at a later date.

•We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. 

•You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing us.

Access to your information and correction
